Kittery at the Turn of the Last Century: A Roadmap
Rice Public Library Virtual Exhibit - Available All Year Long

Picture
As part of the Town of Kittery’s 375 Celebration, the Rice Public Library is excited to debut a brand new exhibit, a century in the making. Kittery at the Turn of the Last Century: A Roadmap features 46 postcards from the library’s collection, which together tell the story of over a dozen local points of interest, both in time and place, where Kittery’s past has been preserved. Revisiting postcards shared on the library's Facebook page, as well as exploring a number of new sites, this collection highlights locations along much of the town’s waterfront, and beyond.
Featuring moments that span over 30 years of Kittery’s vibrant history, this virtual exhibit will be available to view during the entire year-long celebration of Kittery’s 375th birthday!
